CONFIGURATION ANALYST 3

About the role

Plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation—including engineering drawings, production specifications, schedules, and contract modifications—to ensure customer contract requirements are met. Reviews contracts to determine documentation needed for each project phase, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes. Analyzes proposed product design changes for overall system impact and coordinates modification records for management control.

Responsibilities

• Establish change orders and prepare documentation for change authorization by the company and subcontractors.
• Review and analyze released engineering change data.
• Coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.
• Maintain modification records for effective management control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree + 6 years relevant exempt experience, or Master’s Degree + 4 years relevant professional experience.
• Equivalent qualifications may include:
  • NNS Apprentice School graduate
  • Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
  • Associate’s Degree (or other formal 2‑year program) + 2 years relevant exempt experience or 4 years relevant non‑exempt experience
  • Military paygrade E‑5 or above
  • High School/GED + 4 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience (exempt) or 8 years combined (non‑exempt)

Pay

Salary range: $84,000.00 – $105,000.00 (estimated base pay; final compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and other job‑related factors).
