Job#: 3052685 Job Description: Configuration Analyst 1 Location: Elkton, Maryland (Onsite) Role Overview Our organization is seeking a Configuration Analyst to support the Configuration Management department. This role involves planning and coordinating the preparation of project documentation to ensure customer contract requirements are met. The position requires a detail-oriented individual to analyze product design changes and manage modification records. Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate the preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications, and schedules.Review contracts to determine the documentation required for each phase of a project.Analyze proposed changes to product design to determine their effect on the overall product and system.Coordinate modification records for management control.Establish change orders and prepare for change authorization and documentation.Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support, and manufacturing. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.A basic understanding of ERP, PLM, and MES systems.Familiarity with configuration data, such as part numbers, BOMs, and routings, and change control concepts.Proficiency with standard office tools, including Excel and Word.Ability to read and interpret technical documentation like drawings, specifications, and work instructions.Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures.Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.Hands-on experience using enterprise tools such as SAP, Teamcenter, or MES.Exposure to configuration management or product lifecycle management in a regulated environment.Experience working with bills of material (BOMs), part structures, or engineering change notices (ECNs/ECRs).A basic understanding of configuration management standards and practices.
