Conduttore e Manutentore Centrale di Cogenerazone
About the Role
ENGIE is seeking a Conduttore e Manutentore (Operator and Maintenance Technician) for our cogeneration plant in Veduggio con Colzano, within the Global Business Unit Local Energy Infrastructure, division Industries On Site Energy Production. The Industries business line is committed to making enterprises sustainable and efficient through tailored solutions for distributed generation and energy efficiency (photovoltaic, solar thermal, storage), onsite utilities (cogeneration, biomass, etc.), space and people services (Facility Management), and construction and maintenance work.
What You Will Do
Reporting to the Plant Manager and coordinating with the team, you will manage the following activities:
- Serve as the reference person for maintenance activities, liaising with client personnel and suppliers according to the Plant Manager's directives
- Contribute to ensuring the availability and performance levels of the assigned plant; request, supervise, implement, and record maintenance activities at the plant
- Operate and control the plant
- Monitor energy and fluid measurements, including for billing purposes, and implement production programs
- Collaborate in O&M activities, intervene in fault finding when required, support and carry out corrective interventions
- Help maintain a healthy and clean working environment
- Keep assigned equipment and tools in perfect condition and functioning: periodically verify integrity and good condition, request replacement when necessary
- Contribute to the search for technical solutions to improve plant availability and efficiency
- Request procurement of materials and services; check spare parts availability in the warehouse
- As the appointed supervisor, ensure proper management of safety and health for workers, visitors, and external companies at the plant; hold PES (Expert Person) or PAV (Aware Person) qualification under CEI standards
- Ensure the management, operation, and maintenance of the cogeneration plant to meet economic and performance targets, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations at the plant
- Contribute to ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and administrative authorizations and implement their prescriptions
- Cooperate with internal and external training plans
Requirements
- Technical/Industrial High School Diploma in mechanical engineering
- Knowledge of and/or authorization to operate steam generators (preferred qualification)
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and hydraulic fluid circuits
- Experience in industrial plant maintenance
- Strong motivation and results orientation
- Dynamic and autonomous, with experience in resource management
- English language skills and proficiency in main IT tools
- Availability for on-call services during night and holiday hours
Benefits & Pay
Annual gross salary (RAL) for the role ranges from €28,000 to €37,000, based on experience and seniority level.
