About the role

The Concurso para Atribuição de Bolsa de Mérito is open to students enrolled in the Doctoral Programme in Psychology at the Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa for the academic year 2023-2024.

Responsibilities

• Candidates must be enrolled in full-time, exclusive dedication and enrolled for the first year of the Doctoral Programme in Psychology, or meet the exceptional conditions defined in Regulation 742/2022.
• The grant is incompatible with the exercise of a dependent and independent labor activity.

Requirements

• A request directed to the Evaluation Committee, explicitly stating the intention to apply for the merit scholarship and including the candidate's full identification.
• A curriculum vitae specifying the academic and professional background.
• Certificates of academic qualifications, specifying the final classification.
• A research project proposal using Form A.
• A justification of the relevance and articulation of the research project to the strategic plan and research areas of the research unit hosting the project, using Form B.
• Signed declarations from all members of the supervision team, clarifying acceptance of the supervision and indicating the name of the candidate and the title of the research project.
• A curriculum vitae of each member of the supervision team.
• The main supervisor must be a Doctor in Psychology, professor and/or contract researcher at CIS-Iscte and/or Iscte-IUL, with a relevant scientific curriculum in the intended PhD project area.
• No more than five simultaneous supervisions per supervisor.

Qualifications

Applications with a final classification of less than 14 points will not be eligible for a grant.
