Position Overview Speedy Concrete Cutting, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Concrete Sawing & Drilling Helper/Trainees. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to build a rewarding career in the construction industry through hands-on training and mentorship. Helper/Trainees assist experienced Operators with concrete cutting, core drilling, wall sawing, wire sawing, and GPR scanning on commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects while developing the skills needed to advance into an Operator role. Key Responsibilities Assist with concrete sawing, core drilling, demolition, and removal activities on active job sitesSupport layout, measuring, and precision cutting operationsAssist with demolition and structural modification projectsWork safely in commercial, industrial, medical, and roadway environmentsFollow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, Silica Safety standards, and OSHA regulationsPerform daily equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenanceLearn the safe operation of specialized equipment, including:Flat saws (slab saws)Wall sawsCore drillsHand saws and ring sawsWire sawsMini excavatorsSkid steersRobotic demolition equipmentMaintain a clean and organized work areaAssist with loading, unloading, and transporting equipment and materials Qualifications Construction, concrete, or general labor experience preferred but not requiredStrong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn a skilled tradeExcellent communication and teamwork skillsValid driver’s license with clean record and ability to travel locallyMust pass background check and drug screeningStrong focus on safety, precision, and teamworkComfortable working outdoor, indoors, or confined environmentsWillingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed Benefits We offer competitive weekly pay + Consistent overtime, Holiday bonuses, Uniforms, comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance coverage, employer-paid life insurance, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions.
