Roger Langeliers Construction is seeking an experienced Saw & Seal Foreman to lead crews performing specialized bridge and transportation infrastructure work throughout the Pacific Northwest. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing field crews, maintaining production schedules, ensuring quality workmanship, and upholding company safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise field crews ranging from 3 to 15 personnel.
- Plan daily work activities and coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Maintain production goals while ensuring quality workmanship.
- Enforce company safety policies and project-specific safety requirements.
- Cookordinate with project managers, inspectors, owners, and subcontractors.
- Complete and submit daily job logs, crew timecards, and production tracking.
- Train and mentor crew members on safety protocols and best practices.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to specification.
- Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
Work Includes
- Bridge expansion joint installation and rehabilitation.
- Waterproofing membrane installation.
- Polyester concrete overlay placement.
- Bridge deck rehabilitation.
- Concrete repair and restoration.
- Airport pavement rehabilitation.
- Highway and bridge preservation projects.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of concrete construction experience in a foreman or leadership role.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Proven ability to supervise and lead crews effectively.
- Experience with highway, bridge, heavy civil, or airport construction.
- Experience with bridge deck overlays and rehabilitation.
- Familiarity with products such as:
- Polyguard waterproofing membrane systems
- Kwick Bond KBP 1121 Polyester Concrete
- Sika construction products
- DS Brown expansion joint systems
- Watson Bowman Acme joint systems
- Experience operating construction equipment and coordinating specialty subcontractors.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work long hours, including weekends and occasional nights.
- Ability to travel for project assignments throughout the Pacific Northwest.
- Capable of working in all weather conditions.
- Valid Class A CDL, OSHA training, and other construction certifications are a plus!
