Responsibilities
- Assess the condition of concrete surfaces and determine the most appropriate repair methods
- Prepare surfaces for patching by cleaning, chipping, or grinding as necessary
- Mix and apply repair materials according to specifications
- Use tools and equipment such as trowels, brushes, and grinders to achieve smooth finishes
- Ensure that repaired areas match the surrounding concrete in color and texture
- Follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment at all times
- Document work performed and report any issues or concerns to the project manager
Requirements
- Prior experience in concrete patching and repair is ideal
- 1-2 years of previous concrete or construction experience
- Attention to detail and ability to achieve high-quality finishes
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license
- Able to travel 20% of the time with overnight hotel stays occasionally
