Concrete Mixer Truck Driver

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a concrete mixer truck to transport ready-mix concrete to job sites
• Monitor mixing process to ensure proper consistency and quality of concrete
• Safely discharge concrete according to job site specifications and crew direction
• Cook up with dispatch, plant personnel, and field crews to ensure timely deliveries

Success in this role is typically demonstrated by

• Safe operation with full compliance to DOT and safety standards
• Consistent on-time delivery of concrete with proper quality and consistency
• Proper maintenance and cleanliness of mixer equipment
• Effective coordination with dispatch, plant, and field teams
• Reliable performance in a fast-paced, field environment

Work Environment

• Field-based role supporting active construction and roadway projects
• Combination of driving and physical work in outdoor environments
• Early mornings, variable schedules, and project-based hours may be required
• Team-oriented environment focused on safety and efficiency

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Clean driving record and strong commitment to safety
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe vehicle operation
• Ability to perform physical work, including climbing, lifting, and equipment handling
• Strong reliability, time management, and communication skills

Preferred

• Experience operating concrete mixer trucks
• Experience in construction, paving, or concrete operations
• Familiarity with job site safety and traffic control practices
