About the Role
CMC provides an excellent opportunity to learn the steel, construction reinforcement, and ground stabilization industries and to grow in your career. Whether you spend your day in an office, operating equipment, or troubleshooting technical obstacles, you’ll receive the training and support needed to excel.
Responsibilities
- Support production of precast concrete products from setup through shipment
- Set up and prepare molds/forms (clean, assemble, apply release agents)
- Place reinforcing materials (rebar, wire mesh, embeds) per specifications
- Assist with pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete
- Support curing process and strip finished products from molds
- Perform basic finishing (patching, smoothing, marking/stenciling)
- Cut and tie wire/rebar as needed for reinforcement
- Move and stage materials and finished products for curing or shipment
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
Requirements
- Ability to perform physical work (lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, bending, and kneeling) for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Availability for overtime, including weekends as needed
- Ability to work well on a team to meet production goals
- Basic math and reading skills (measurements, simple drawings)
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Manufacturing, construction, or concrete experience preferred
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
