Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise concrete crews on residential and commercial construction projects.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate daily job site operations.
- Assign work responsibilities and monitor crew productivity.
- Perform site layout, grading coordination, and project preparation.
- Oversee form setting, reinforcement installation, and concrete placement.
- Ensure proper screeding, floating, edging, jointing, finishing, and curing techniques are followed.
- Supervise installation of driveways, sidewalks, patios, garage slabs, pool decks, commercial flatwork, and decorative concrete projects.
- Cover coordination of concrete deliveries, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to maintain project schedules.
- Inspect work throughout each phase to ensure quality standards and project specifications are met.
- Identify and resolve job site challenges quickly and effectively.
- Maintain daily reports including labor hours, production, materials, equipment usage, and project progress.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and company leadership.
- Train, mentor, and develop crew members while fostering a positive team environment.
- Ensure company tools, vehicles, and equipment are maintained in safe working condition.
- Deliver projects on schedule while maintaining exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Concrete Foreman, Lead Foreman, Crew Leader, or similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of all aspects of concrete from the beginning to the end.
- Experience managing residential and commercial concrete construction projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and work side by side and lead by example.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
