About The Role
We are seeking experienced Concrete Finishers to join a major long-term construction project. Working within a skilled construction team, you will be responsible for placing, finishing and repairing concrete to the required specifications, ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy and workmanship are achieved across the project.
Responsibilities
- Place, level, compact and finish concrete surfaces to the required standard.
- Carry out a range of concrete finishing techniques, including trowelling, edging and surface treatments.
- Assist with the preparation of formwork and reinforcement prior to concrete pours.
- Ensure finished concrete meets project specifications and quality requirements.
- Work closely with site supervisors, engineers and other trades to deliver project milestones.
- Identify and rectify defects where required.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
- Comply with all health, safety and environmental procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher on construction, infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
- Knowledge of concrete placement, curing and finishing techniques.
- Ability to work from drawings, specifications and site instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- CSCS Card (essential).
- Additional industry qualifications and certifications are advantageous.
