About the role
The University of Oklahoma is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our Facilities Management team. In this role, you'll perform all aspects of concrete installation, including site preparation, form setting, mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete for sidewalks, ramps, curbs, gutters, slabs, benches, pads, and other campus infrastructure. Additional responsibilities include reading blueprints, preparing grades and forms, operating and maintaining heavy equipment, assisting with asphalt and roofing projects, and ensuring all work is completed safely and professionally. Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of concrete installation, including site preparation, form setting, mixing, pouring, and finishing
- Work on sidewalks, ramps, curbs, gutters, slabs, benches, pads, and other campus infrastructure
- Read blueprints and prepare grades and forms
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment
- Assist with asphalt and roofing projects
- Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 24 months experience in concrete finishing
- Valid Driver's License
Pay
Targeted hourly pay up to $21.01, depending on experience.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the summer.
