Concrete Finisher - Allied Concrete

About the role

Allied Concrete is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher for their teams in Billings, MT. This position involves placing forms to hold concrete ensuring the required depth and pitches are achieved, monitoring the effects of heat, wind, and cold on curing concrete, installing anchor bolts, steel plates, and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete, waterproofing, damp-proofing, and restoring concrete surfaces, casting and spreading concrete to patch voids, and applying hardening and sealing compounds to cure the surface of concrete.

Responsibilities

• Placing forms to hold concrete ensuring the required depth and pitches are achieved.
• Monitoring the effects of heat, wind, and cold on curing concrete to ensure high-quality results.
• Broom, Top Cast, Stamp & Burt in Finishes.
• Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete.
• Waterproofing, damp-proofing, and restoring concrete surfaces.
• Casting and spreading concrete to patch voids.
• Applying hardening and sealing compounds to cure the surface of concrete.

Requirements

• Ability to work overtime and Saturdays on an as-needed basis.
• Ability to work on construction projects in both standard and high-risk areas.

Qualifications

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as required.

Skills

• Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using construction equipment and tools.

Schedule

• Regular hours with occasional overtime and Saturdays as needed.
