About the role
Crew Members and Crew Leaders are responsible for performing various skilled tasks including tearing out material, forming, pouring, and finishing concrete. Crew Leaders also prepare, care, and operate company equipment, direct their crews, and ensure quality performance.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of skilled tasks such as tearing out material, forming, pouring, and finishing concrete.
- Lead a team to achieve daily work goals.
- Operate and maintain company equipment.
- Ensure safety for self, crew members, and clients.
- Develop skills to progress to a Crew Leader position.
- Transition into snow removal tasks in the winter.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Chauffeur's license and DOT certification before operating a company vehicle.
- Able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds for extended periods.
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Pass a pre-employment drug test.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in landscape, concrete, or construction industry preferred.
Skills
- Knowledge of concrete and asphalt.
