Concrete Carpenter- Salt Lake City

SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking a Concrete Carpenter responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing concrete formwork and related structures in compliance with local building codes and general construction principles.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• 7+ years of hands-on commercial carpentry experience
• Strong background in concrete formwork (footings, walls, columns, decks, tilt panels)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site drawings
• Experience building and setting forms for foundations and structural concrete
• Skilled in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials accurately
• Knowledge of building codes, layout, and safety standards (OSHA)
• Comfortable working with power tools, heavy equipment, and concrete placement/finishing
• Finish Carpentry, doors, frames, and hardware
• Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
• All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a carpenter
• Trade or technical school certification/diploma is a plus

• Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs will be done with assistance of another team member or equipment.
