About the role
Loenbro is seeking an experienced Concrete / Carpenter Foreman for projects in the Great Falls, MT area. The position involves assisting in the supervision of activities to ensure optimal productivity and compliance, coordinating tasks according to priorities and plans, and overseeing workers.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates and supervises daily activities of crew.
- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans.
- Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew.
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities.
- Supervise and train workers.
- Ensure labor and resources are adequate.
- Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are followed.
- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment.
- Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget.
- Resolve problems when they arise.
- Report progress to managers, engineers, etc.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience as a Concrete Foreman OR Carpenter Foreman.
- TWIC Card and/or Real ID’s are required.
- Able to manage team members and multiple projects.
- Knowledge of reading and interpreting sketches, blueprints, and detailed drawings.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations.
- Accurate and precise attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Outside most of the time.
- Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures.
- Manufacturing, pipeline, and refining environment.
- Fitting and moving in confined spaces including tanks and vessels.
- Limited working surfaces.
- Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors.
- Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights).
- Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time on a monthly basis for required tasks.
- Potential or periodic amounts of time for the following:
- If driving is required, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurability are required.
- All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
- This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
