CONCRETE/ASPHALT SAWING and/or DRILLING MACHINE OPERATOR

About the role

Responsible for operating concrete/asphalt sawing and/or drilling machines to cut and drill various materials. Duties include setting up equipment, monitoring operations, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

• Operate sawing and drilling machines safely and efficiently
• Set up and adjust equipment according to project specifications
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance checks
• Monitor operations and report any issues to supervisors
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience operating similar machinery
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices
• Basic computer skills for job-related tasks
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience
