About the Project
The free corporate continuous training project “Collega-menti: nuovi sentieri per la cultura” (code: 1042-0003-818-2020) concluded on June 30, 2022. It was implemented under the DGR 818/2020 “Laboratorio Veneto. Strumenti per il settore cultura”, approved and co-financed by the European Social Fund and the Veneto Region (DDR Direzione Istruzione e Formazione n. 138 of 16/03/2021). The project began on April 28, 2021, and ended on June 30, 2022, with Isfid Prisma società cooperativa as the lead entity, in partnership with Società Cooperativa Culture and Legacoop Veneto as the network partner. A total of 116 participants from various Venetian services/museums managed by Coopculture took part.
General Objective
The project’s main goal was to create a cultural and tourism offering accessible both in-person and remotely through the development of a digital platform. This platform ensured high-quality standards not only in content but also in the digital experience of users.
Project Focus
The project utilized training as a tool to upskill CoopCulture’s educational and hospitality staff. While highly qualified culturally, these professionals often lacked the necessary training to conduct remote visits without visual feedback from groups and the stage presence required when engaging with a distant audience. The strategic factor was the ability to innovate by experimenting with new languages that used online presence not as an end, but as a means to integrate the offering and provide higher-quality experiences to potential users. This transformed the consumption process, creating content, products, and services that generated new demand, addressing the needs of an increasingly segmented market with diverse requirements and communication methods. Flexible programming was also adopted to adapt quickly to changing contexts.
Project Initiatives
To effectively achieve its goals, the project was structured into several integrated initiatives:
- New IT Applications for Cultural Heritage (8 hours, 9 editions): Provided participants with specific knowledge on tools needed to operate within the ICT sector for cultural heritage, focusing on managing new digital technologies for online access and bookings.
- Management of Digital Platforms for Museum Educational Services (8 hours, 9 editions): Enhanced digital skills in managing digital platforms for remote museum education and applying online animation methodologies in virtual environments.
- Remote Teaching Management (8 hours, 8 editions): Improved professional competencies in delivering online educational interventions.
- The Role of the Educational Operator in Online Access Environments (64 hours): Enabled Coopculture’s educational activity coordinators and referents to thoroughly address the design and delivery of online museum educational activities.
