Concierge | Part-Time | University of Kansas Social Club

Position Summary

The Naimsith Club Concierge will support the Member Experience Team by creating remarkable experiences for Club Members before, during, and after visits. Priorities include Warm Welcome, Magic Moments, and Fond. Responsibilities include communicating ClubLife through all channels, managing reservations, and accommodating member and guest requests.

Responsibilities

• Direct Members and Guests to their destinations within the club, provide business and concierge services, and create Magic Moments.
• Inform members and guests of club services, features, upcoming events, room locations, and amenities.
• Aid in scheduling appointments and reservations for club programs and services.
• Maintain the lobby, front entrance, workstation, and other areas clean.
• Stock supplies needed by Members/Guests, such as pens and notepads.
• Assist in business services like faxing, copying, mailing, and other concierge tasks.
• Support Member Experience initiatives, such as the Club Newsletter.
• Manage "Message on hold" duties, website calendar, and other projects.
• Avoid delays and ensure smooth operations by coordinating multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry or similar.
• Service-oriented mindset and ability to make guests feel valued.
• Positive phone demeanor and strong communication skills (verbal, written, phone, text, social media).
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure and coordinate multiple tasks.
• Competent with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Adaptable to new technologies.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Exceptional listing skills.

Benefits

This position is hourly, paying $13.00-$16.00 per hour and is tip eligible. Benefits for Part-Time roles include a 401(k) Savings Plan with matching.
