Duties And Essential Functions
- Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Aid the front office manager with training new team members.
- Ensure customer needs are met: provide directions, offer restaurant suggestions, assist with airline reservations, ground transportation, hotel accommodations, event tickets, golf outings, tours, flower and basket orders, and other services that meet the resident's needs.
- Coordinate special events or projects as assigned.
- Provide information on the geographical area, suggest sightseeing locations, and arrange tours.
- Conduct all concierge services for the association with integrity and professionalism at all times.
- Respect all residents' privacy, information, perspectives, priorities, times, and resources.
- Establish relationships with local merchants and service providers.
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Communicate residents' and guests' concerns to management promptly.
- Arrange for move-ins and move-outs after management approval.
- Handle lost and found items, keeping a log.
- Manage incoming and outgoing packages, calling residents, and maintaining package records.
- Prepare weekly activity reports as required and submit to management.
- Review and update calendars of events, daily updates, daily tee sheets, daily spa reservations, function sheets, and hours of operation daily to answer questions and direct members.

Supervisory Responsibility
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but it serves as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to talk and hear.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds and sometimes items over 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- This position is full time and regularly requires early morning, late night, and weekend shifts.
- Travel is primarily local during the business day.
Required Education And Experience
- A High School Diploma.
- An Associate Degree (AA) or Bachelor's Degree (BA) is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years experience working in the hospitality industry in a similar role.
- Knowledgeable with computers and software programs commonly used in the industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Creative and enjoys creating a luxurious lifestyle that is fun and safe for residents.
Position Supervision
- Employee reports to the Association Manager of the community.
