Responsibilities

• Coordinate guests’ needs, requests, and inquiries to ensure superior service and value.
• Collect and provide comprehensive information on hotel services, local attractions, restaurants, theater, transportation, and other points of interest.
• Handle reservations and obtain/issue tickets as needed.
• Assist guests with florists, couriers, mail services, rental of small business machines, international calls, and other concierge services.
• Respond to guest concerns or complaints in a timely manner and escalate issues to management when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and orderly concierge desk and area that reflects the hotel’s high standards.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
• Prepare for in-house group meetings and VIP arrivals.
• Perform additional duties such as assisting the bell stand, handling luggage, and providing general guest assistance.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent, plus one year of experience as a concierge or in a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Some college education and knowledge of the locale preferred.
• Must speak fluent English; additional languages preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as carrying or lifting items up to 25 pounds and handling objects like phones and computer keyboards.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as required.
