Front Desk Receptionist / Concierge Summary
Responsible for enhancing resident services and providing up to date information in an efficient and timely manner. Greets residents and visitors, answers the phone and responds to both routine inquiries and emergencies, relays call to the proper department and performs a variety of related clerical duties.
Front Desk Receptionist / Concierge Responsibilities
- Greet residents and provide general assistance to visitors, prospective residents and families.
- Ensures safety of the residents and property by monitoring surveillance cameras, door alarms, life safety systems, building alarms and investigating any unusual activity.
- Ensures that incident reports, concern reports and other appropriate communication have been completed.
- Completes daily check-in procedure.
- Maintains visitor sign in/out book, reservation book for guest rooms, logs and communicates maintenance request work orders.
- Maintains current list of residents by name and room number, telephone numbers for all personnel, department extensions, names and contact information of key personnel.
- Maintains log for the issuance of community keys and gate passes.
- Maintains coffee and cookie service in the lobby/making cookies daily.
- Maintains appearance of lobby and ensuring there are fresh flowers.
- Affixes departments with administrative services to include ordering supplies.
- Codes accounts payable invoices, logs and distributes for authorization.
- Captures and distributes incoming and outgoing mail to the community.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Front Desk Receptionist / Concierge Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in office skills, and with computer software.
