About Generation Hospitality
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guests with information about local attractions, restaurants, entertainment, and transportation.
- Handle VIP arrivals, special requests, and guest complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Liaise with other hotel departments (housekeeping, front desk, F&B) to ensure seamless guest service.
- Maintain updated knowledge of hotel services, promotions, and area events.
- Ensure the concierge desk is well-organized and well-stocked with brochures, maps, and information materials.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; a hospitality degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in concierge or front office roles, with 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of local area attractions, culture, and events.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in hotel software systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and handle guest concerns diplomatically.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
