About the Role
The concierge is a team member whose main responsibility is assisting guests in obtaining information and authorized movie tickets for the film or films of their choice from the box office. As the theatre’s goodwill ambassador, the concierge represents the Company in a way that aligns with our mission statement and policies.
Responsibilities
- Regular and consistent attendance.
- Knowledge of and promotion of Regal Crown Club Program.
- Handling of all monies (cash, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, and coupons).
- Knowledge of all passes and discount tickets accepted by Regal and their proper handling procedures.
- Responsibility for accuracy of cash drawer and all passes and discount tickets accepted.
- Filling out the Daily Pass Log.
- Proper refund and void procedures.
- Proper sell-out procedures.
- Knowledge and enforcement of the MPAA rating system.
- Proper phone usage.
- Knowledge of all emergency, evacuation, and robbery procedures.
- General cleaning duties and proper use of all cleaning materials.
- Good guest service techniques, including greeting and thanking all guests.
- Knowledge of counterfeit bill procedures.
- Ability to properly reload ticket stock into the printer.
- Knowledge and compliance with dress code.
- Ensuring guest satisfaction through friendly and professional interactions.
- Abiding by all federal and state laws regarding breaks and/or meal periods.
- Completion of or progress toward cast certification program as a cast member and as a box office cashier.
- Reading and understanding training materials on subjects such as sexual harassment and discrimination.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (if not currently a high school student).
- Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as a box office cashier or progress toward completion.
Skills
- Language Ability: Good public speaking, effective listening, and clear, direct responses.
- Math Ability: Perform calculations with speed and accuracy; identify and correct errors.
- Reasoning Ability: Identify problems, gather relevant data, evaluate information, recognize alternatives, and reach evidence-based conclusions. Perform under pressure and/or opposition.
- Personal Skills: Excellent communication with customers, co-workers, and management. Ability to establish goals, budget time, and set priorities.
