Concessions Line Worker | Part-Time | Atlantic City Convention Center

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance in ensuring all food & beverage products are fully stocked in designated location.
• Assists in building orders, prepares food, packages food, and possesses knowledge in all areas of concession operations.
• Maintains stock and supply levels and communicates to management about low-stock items.
• Listens and responds to customer requests or concerns.
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace including disposal of garbage and cleaning dishes.
• Serves beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages responsibly.
• Checks guest's ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages.
• Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 or over.
• Three or more months’ experience in food service industry preferred.
• Previous experience in working with point of sales systems or computers.
• Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers & guests.

The Atlantic City Convention Center & Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall is a multi-purpose facility located on the iconic Atlantic City Boardwalk. It features the 141,000-square-foot main arena with a capacity of 14,770 seats and the 23,100-square-foot Adrian Phillips Theater with a capacity of 3,200. Constructed in 1929 as the country’s original convention center, Boardwalk Hall has dazzled guests and residents of Atlantic City.

Pay

This role will pay an hourly rate of $19.00 (per CBA).
