Concessions/Catering Bartender H-328

About the role

This position will dispense alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for concessions stations and banquet bars at the Ferguson Center for the Arts, as well as banquet bars in the David Student Union. It will also work closely with the Catering management team to ensure all entertainers, staff members, and patrons are provided with timely beverage and meal service.

• Dispense alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for concessions stations and banquet bars at the Ferguson Center for the Arts, as well as banquet bars in the David Student Union.
• Work closely with the Catering management team to ensure all entertainers, staff members, and patrons are provided with timely beverage and meal service.

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include days, late nights, and weekends.
• Ability to work independently in setting up and breaking down work stations.
• Accurate cash handling skills.
• Must be of legal age to pour alcoholic beverages.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent education/experience that equates to a high school diploma.
• Experience: Experience in the food service industry.
• Additional Consideration(s): Previous experience in a catering or a banquet setting, experience with POS systems/financial transactions, experience bartending and serving in a full service restaurant, experience bartending and serving in a catering company.

$17.57 to $21.97 per hour, commensurate with education and experience.
