About the role
This position is located at Turfway Park Racing & Gaming in Florence, KY.
Responsibilities
- Properly receive and greet guests
- Take orders and serve food/beverages in a fast-paced environment
- Properly accept and process guest payments
- Prepare/order pizzas, sandwiches, and salads using standard formulas or following directions
- Clean area, maintain dining space, wipe tables, and dispose of trash
- Stock and restock items as necessary
- Ensure all sanitation procedures are followed per local licensing regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Prior concessions experience preferred, including POS systems
- Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated
- Clear communication skills
- Excellent cash handling skills
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand, stoop, and bend for long periods of time
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be able to obtain a KY Racing License

- Required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

- May be required to lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud
- Circulate throughout assigned areas, including smoking areas, to actively observe guests and gaming operations
