Concession Worker | Part-Time | Kentucky Exposition Center

Responsibilities

• Cash register sales: Taking orders, building orders, and completing transactions.
• Concessions operations: Building orders, preparing food, and managing stock levels.
• Customer service: Listening to and responding to customer requests or concerns.
• Workplace maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including garbage disposal and dish cleaning.
• Serving beverages: Serving beverages, including alcoholic drinks, responsibly.
• ID verification: Checking guest IDs according to state/federal regulations to ensure minimum age requirements for alcohol purchases.
• Sanitation and safety: Ensuring sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three or more months’ experience in food service industry preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Operate POS systems for cashless transactions.
• Interpersonal skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude.

Pay

The Concessions Worker is paid an hourly rate of $13.70 - $16.44, with the potential to earn tips.
