Concession Worker | Part-Time | Hilliard Center

Responsibilities

• Cash register sales: Taking orders, building orders, and completing transactions.
• Food preparation and order building: Knowledge of all areas in concessions operations.
• Maintain stock levels: Communicating low-stock items to the Concessions Stand Manager.
• Customer interaction: Listening and responding to customer requests or concerns.
• Workplace maintenance: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including garbage disposal and dish cleaning.
• Serve beverages: Serving beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, responsibly.
• ID verification: Checking guest's ID to verify minimum age requirements for alcohol purchases.
• Sanitation and safety: Maintaining sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Punctuality and attendance: Punctual with consistent attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current TABC Certification and Food Handlers Certificate required.
• Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn cash handling and register operation.
• Interpersonal skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
• Availability: Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical ability: Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Task management: Ability to multitask.
