Conceptual Engineering Manager Air Separation
About the role
You will be responsible for defining and assessing technology and overall plant solutions for Air Separation Project Opportunities in the Americas region and evaluate gas supply options across a range of applicable production technologies. You will also support and provide input to the Global Tech Product Management organization to ensure AS product offerings consider optimization for Americas specific project opportunities and customers. You will lead concept development activities and conduct economic evaluations of solution options by developing a strong understanding of client and cluster requirements, including impacts on customer processes.
You will interface with Business Development to explore opportunities to expand project scope. You will lead the creation of Project Specifications (PS Documents) in partnership with the customer and provide input to the process deliverables, simulations, and cost/performance details for proposals, working closely with internal engineering teams. Also, you will develop preliminary conceptual capital estimates and provide performance inputs for option screening. You will work closely with LEA Equipment team to verify technical solutions and confirm optimal pricing, and performance assumptions. You will support customer presentations and participate in client knowledge-acquisition sessions. You will ensure strong linkages, alignment, and correct inputs across all involved stakeholders and perform on an ad-hoc basis.
