Position Responsibilities
- Maintain grounds and building facilities.
- Repair and maintain machinery and equipment, both mechanical and electrical.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, manufacturer's specifications, and other instructional materials.
- Possess knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations, including lockout/tag out, universal waste disposal, and SDS.
- Check forklift and equipment batteries.
- Maintain and move equipment/furniture.
- Create and make signs for the facility.
- Change various filters as assigned.
- Perform daily equipment preventive maintenance as assigned.
- Paint and clean as required.
- Show basic knowledge of electrical and mechanics.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Safely operate pallet jack and powered forklift, hydraulic lift, crane, tractor, and other industrial equipment.

Physical Requirements
- Full range of body motion - bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or otherwise maneuvering the entire body.
- Dexterous use of both hands.
- Ability to stand 100% of the time.
- Heavy material handling and/or lifting will be required as described in the Physical Demands Analysis of the position.
- Physically available to work in a plant floor environment, standing.
- Working conditions physically available to work in a plant floor environment, standing.
Travel Requirements
- Minimal.
License and Certifications
- Valid driver’s license to be an authorized driver of company vehicles.
Education Requirements
- Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to develop core competency in industrial electrical principals, electrical print reading, electrical motor control, hydraulic principals, and maintenance skill tests.
- Demonstrate skill, ability, and knowledge of proper safety procedures.
- Coursework requirements based on skill levels and needs of the facility.
