About the role

We're looking for a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to help build AI-powered perception systems that can identify, understand, and interact with the world in 3D. This is an opportunity to work on challenging, real-world computer vision problems alongside a small team of experienced engineers. You'll play a key role in developing the technology behind our platform, from researching new approaches to deploying production-ready models that make an immediate impact.

What you'll do

  • Design, build, and improve computer vision models for 3D object detection and recognition.
  • Develop deep learning solutions for perception, image understanding, and scene analysis.
  • Work with image, depth, and point cloud data to improve model accuracy and performance.
  • Partner closely with software and AI engineers to build scalable, production-ready systems.
  • Evaluate new algorithms, optimize model performance, and continuously improve reliability in real-world environments.
  • Contribute to technical architecture, product direction, and engineering best practices as the platform grows.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience building computer vision or machine learning applications.
  • Strong programming experience in Python.
  • Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar deep learning frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenCV or similar computer vision libraries.
  • Experience with one or more of the following:
    • Object detection
    • Object tracking
    • Image segmentation
    • 3D perception
    • Pose estimation
    • Scene understanding
  • Experience working with point clouds, LiDAR, RGB-D cameras, or other 3D data is a strong plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to engineering.

Nice to have

  • SLAM or Visual SLAM
  • Structure from Motion (SfM)
  • Sensor fusion
  • CUDA or GPU optimization
  • Ros / Ros2
  • NVIDIA Jetson or TensorRT
  • Experience in robotics, autonomous systems, drones, industrial AI, spatial computing, or other real-world perception applications

What it's like to work here

We're a remote-friendly team that believes great ideas can come from anywhere. We hire people we trust, give them ownership, and focus on outcomes instead of micromanagement. One of our company tenets is Fun. We enjoy working together, celebrating wins, and building an environment where people genuinely like what they do.
