Computer Vision AI Expert

Responsibilities

• Design challenging computer vision problems using Python to target capability gaps in frontier AI models.
• Integrate tasks into an agentic development environment, preparing components with Python.
• Evaluate model performance on tasks to identify reasoning and capability gaps.
• Identify and classify failures in model tasks to improve model outputs.
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts to ensure consistent and accurate evaluations.
• Work independently and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines.

Requirements

• Deep experience in computer vision from industry, research, or a graduate/PhD background.
• Proficiency in Python for research, industry, or open-source work.
• Strong command of modern computer vision methods, including deep learning architectures and standard tooling like PyTorch/TensorFlow.
• Ability to engage for approximately 20 hours/week.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Past experience in AI training, model evaluation, or data annotation.

Pay

$80–$110/hour
