Computer Vision AI Engineer
About the role
The Computer Vision AI Engineer will utilize expertise in AI, data science, and machine learning engineering to train, test, deploy, and maintain models that learn from data to drive real-world mission critical impact. They will collaborate with dynamic teams to make AI-enabled operational capability and production-grade code, bringing significant technological advancements that drive mission success.
Responsibilities
- Utilize deep learning for computer vision, including the use of transformer-based models such as DINO, CLIP, and SAM
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, test, and develop technical solutions in Rust, Python, and C++
- Develop and maintain a missile defense system, ensuring robustness and accuracy in real-time applications
- Utilize GPU programming such as CUDA or RAPIDS to optimize performance of computer vision applications
- Contribute to the architecture and implementation of embedded systems
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AI, data science, ML engineering, and software engineering
- Experience in sensor fusion and target tracking
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design, test, and develop technical solutions in Rust, Python, and C++
- Experience developing and maintaining a missile defense system, ensuring robustness and accuracy in real-time applications
- Experience utilizing GPU programming such as CUDA or RAPIDS, to optimize performance of computer vision applications
- Knowledge of computer vision and artificial neural networks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a CS, AI, or Engineering field
Skills
- Experience with the design, development, testing, or analysis of missile defense systems or fire control systems
- Experience developing in-space solutions
- Knowledge of modern software design patterns, including microservice design and orchestration in Kubernetes deployment
- TS/SCI clearance

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
