Computer Tomography Technologist PRN

Summary of Job Duties

The CT Technologist will be responsible for providing quality diagnostic imaging for medical interpretation. Duties will include: operating CT equipment, handling patients, venipuncture, post-processing of images, patient transport, working with electronic medical records, and communication with physicians, and other services. This position also includes call and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED PLUS Graduate of an approved Radiology programNEW GRADUATE OR LESS THAN ONE (1) YEAR OF CT EXPERIENCE Registry eligible or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. An Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License must be obtained before the start date. CT Advanced Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists must be obtained within 12 months of the date of hireABILITY TO FOLLOW ORAL INSTRUCTION, READ, AND WRITE
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Radiological Sciences1 or more years of experience as a CT technologistADVANCED REGISTRY BY THE AMERICAN REGISTRY OF RADIOLASTIC TECHNOLOGISTS IN COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY
