Responsibilities
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Provide timely and effective assistance with IT‑related issues.
- Guide customers remotely through system configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting processes.
- Learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
- Communicate verbally and in writing with users via email, phone, and messaging services.
- Apply knowledge of cloud computing concepts and platforms, such as Microsoft Office 365.
- Utilize a basic understanding of networking concepts.
- Maintain familiarity with computer hardware, common software applications, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Leverage relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL, Microsoft certifications) when advantageous.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top‑Secret clearance (current favorable determination based on a closed T5 investigation).
- Typically an Associate’s degree or comparable technical training, plus at least two years of related experience.
- Technical skill and knowledge in computer hardware and software.
- Additional training required to support legacy systems.
- Desired certifications: CompTIA A+, Security+.
- Experience with Active Directory and VPN troubleshooting.
Physical Demands
Normal office environment demands. Ability to work on a computer for long periods, communicate by telephone, email, and face‑to‑face, and lift up to 25 pounds. Some travel may be required.

Pay
Minimum required hourly wage: $27.63. Final salary may vary based on location, experience, skills, education, and certifications, in accordance with the Service Contract Labor Standards wage determination.
