Duties / Responsibilities

• Cover requirements gathering to define system and project needs.
• Develop and implement software solutions aligned with project objectives.
• Perform integration testing to ensure system reliability and interoperability.
• Evaluate and optimize solutions for performance, scalability, and usability.
• Design and implement active learning frameworks for data-driven projects.

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Engineering, or a related field; or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with relevant full-time experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• A minimum of 3.5 years of verifiable full-time work experience.
• Demonstrated experience in software development, including requirements analysis and implementation.
• A strong background in web application development, particularly integration testing and solution evaluation.
• Proficiency in Python and C programming.
• Experience working with machine learning techniques on large-scale datasets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively in team environments.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience authoring peer-reviewed publications.
• Proposal development and grant writing experience.
• Published
