About the role

Your deep data science expertise coupled with an original approach to your work will help clients and stakeholders make sense of their data and encourage actionable results. We’re looking for someone like you to lead complex data exploration and analytics projects through your experience with statistics for the Department of Defense.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI methodologies to make a real-world impact on AI usage in strategic intelligence.
• Grow your skills in continuous auditing, testing, evaluation, verification, and validation (TEVV) and AI risk mitigation to shape the future of analytics through a variety of means.
• Guide a team that serves critical missions from end to end, whether using AI to improve government efficiency or developing new TEVV procedures.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience correlating complex technical findings into graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative products.
• 5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) and functional programming to build modular and scalable testing libraries.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including AI or ML validation.
• Experience with building and evaluating outputs and performance of advanced analytics, particularly LLMs and/or agentic AI.
• Experience working on classified networks in support of DoD or IC clients.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
• Ability to visualize complex data and concepts for non-technical leadership, highlighting system risks and "go or no-go" criteria clearly.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience with scientific techniques such as mathematics, statistics, information science, AI, machine learning, probability modeling, data mining, data engineering, or data warehousing, or 12+ years of experience with scientific techniques such as mathematics, statistics, information science, AI, machine learning, probability modeling, data mining, data engineering, or data warehousing in lieu of a degree.

• Experience reviewing and evaluating technical documentation for compliance with applicable standards.
• Experience developing and executing TEVV procedures.
• Experience evaluating AI system performance, robustness, and fairness.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
