Computer Science Faculty

About the role

The University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position in the Creative Arts and Digital Media Pathway beginning August 15th, 2026. The position requires a specialization in Computer Science with experience, success, and interest in offering Computer Science curriculum including data analytics, programming (C#, Python, and Visual Basic), networking, and databases. The teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester (fall and spring).

Responsibilities

• Teach computer science courses
• Oversight of the computer science laboratory
• Advising and curricular initiatives of the computer science programs and related minors
• Consulting with the Assistant Dean of Creative Arts and Digital Media Pathway and Program Director
• Advance the Catholic and Franciscan Mission of the University

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related area required
• Advanced degree preferred for this position

Qualifications

• Demonstrate professional development and a commitment to collaboration and service within the Pathway, across the University and in the community

Skills

• Ability to teach computer science courses
• Experience with data analytics, programming languages (C#, Python, Visual Basic), networking, and databases
• Commitment to advancing the Catholic and Franciscan Mission of the University

Pay

Rank and salary are dependent upon the appointee’s qualifications and experience.
