Job Summary/Basic Function: The Open-Student Computer Lab is dedicated to offering educational experiences, leadership opportunities, and academic support which advances the social, intellectual, cultural and civic development of students.

Responsibilities

• Professionally assist students in using the lab facility
• Ensure the operation of the lab and equipment
• Provide software and minor hardware support (training will be provided if hired)
• Avoid ensure a clean and efficient lab environment
• Avoid Assist team leader and supervisor as needed
• Avoid Communicate timely and effectively with team and coworkers for support
• Avoid Serve on Computer Lab Committees
• Avoid Participate in Computer Lab Activities and community engagement opportunities

Required Qualifications

• Good communication and customer service skills through work or volunteer experiences
• Some knowledge and experience using computers, Google Suite, and word processing applications (MS Word, Google Docs, etc.)
• Ability to effectively comprehend and communicate written and oral instructions
• Demonstrate excellence in customer service skills
• Current full-time or part-time WSU students

Preferred Qualifications

• Leadership skills and experience are preferred and beneficial for advancement
