Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Government in the architectural design, engineering, and configuration of Type-1 hypervisor systems (VMware ESXi, vCenter, vROPS/Aria).
- Engineer application virtualization, streaming, presentation, and layering solutions utilizing Citrix Virtual Apps (XenApp), Citrix App Layering, VMware AppVolumes, and ThinApp.
- C Conduct regression testing of new software/hardware builds in pre-production lab environments.
- Implement standard configurations, patch management, and execute system-wide production upgrades under strict change management workflows.
- Build, package, and certify application profiles for isolated environments.
- Provide 24x7 Tier 3 technical support and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical infrastructure issues.
Requirements & Technical Qualifications
- Must hold a formal diploma/written Engineering degree from an accredited institution (Grandfathered experience or general trade technology degrees do not qualify).
- Must have 3 years (depending on Level II, III, or IV) of technical experience in direct support of VMware or Citrix projects. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
