About the role
We are seeking an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist to join our hospital team in a dynamic environment focused on diagnostic imaging excellence.
Responsibilities
- Follow physician instructions and department protocols
- Administer contrast media and perform IV contrast injections
- Operate CT equipment, including Philips systems
- Ensure patient safety and optimal image quality
- Perform patient positioning and image acquisition
- Conduct quality control checks and manage digital images
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions to contrast media
- Assist in emergency situations as needed
- Maintain department standards and participate in quality activities
- Instruct new staff and perform general department duties
Requirements
- 2+ years of CT experience
- ARRT certification in Radiography or CT
- BLS certification
- Proficiency with Philips CT equipment
- Experience with IV contrast administration
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Hospital imaging experience
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
