Computed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech)

About the role
In this role, you will perform a full range of CT examinations using GE and Siemens scanners. Typical studies include head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremity imaging, as well as contrast-enhanced and angiographic procedures.
- Patient assessment and preparation
- IV access and contrast administration as allowed by policy
- Accurate positioning, protocol selection, and image acquisition according to established protocols and radiation safety guidelines
- Verifying physician orders and reviewing patient histories and relevant labs
- Explaining procedures and addressing patient questions
- Ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the exam
- Operating CT equipment and monitoring image quality in real time
- Communicating promptly with radiologists regarding critical findings or protocol clarifications
- Accurate documentation in the EMR and timely completion of exams
- Effective communication with the broader care team
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Experience with GE and Siemens scanners
