Computed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech)
Job Description
You will confirm patient identity, prepare and position patients for scans, insert IVs as needed, and coordinate with physicians to provide accurate imaging. Maintaining patient safety, documenting procedures in Epic, and ensuring images are sent to the PACS system are key responsibilities.
Requirements
- CT Technologist, Computed Tomography
- Experience: 2 years
- Licenses: RAD-NY
- Certifications: CTTECH-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(Copy needed); BLS-AHA(Copy needed)
- Holidays: holidays per unit needs
- Weekends: Fri-Sun schedule
- On Call: 2-3 call shifts/month, per unit needs
- SSN Required
- DOB Required
- Work History: Should not be more than 21 days of gap in entire work history
- References: 2 References in entire work history
- Level 1 Trauma Center Experience indicated in work history
- Preferred Qualifications: Injection certification preferred-must be willing to complete during orientation process. Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred.
