About the Role
A Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is a CT Professional qualified by professional credentialing, academic, and clinical experience to provide diagnostic patient care services using CT and related diagnostic procedures. The scope of practice includes procedures, acts, and processes permitted by law, for which the individual has received education, clinical experience, demonstrated competency, and completed the appropriate ARRT (R)(CT) registry(s), which is the standard of practice in Radiology.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (or higher).
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Current ARRT (R), ARRT (N), NMTCB, or ARRT (T) certification and must pass CT registry test within 18 months of hire.
- 0 years of experience as a CT technologist (entry-level).
Schedule
- Primary Shift: Evening (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- On Call: Yes.
- Weekends: Yes.

The Outer Banks Hospital is a full-service critical access hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services. The 21-bed facility serves the coastal community, with a year-round population of approximately 35,000 that swells to about 350,000 in the summer season. Campus features include:
