Computational Physicist | Remote

Contract role, remote, 10–40 hrs/week, $80–$100/hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed walkthroughs of computational-physics problem-solving using AI coding agents.
• Demonstrate AI agents for tasks such as navigating codebases and debugging issues.
• Document methodologies for employing AI agents in sequence generation.
• Assess workflows where agentic tools aid in architectural changes.
• Generate examples and feedback to improve AI model training.
• Communicate findings through written and verbal channels.

Requirements

• Advanced experience in computational physics with a history of technical problem-solving.
• Proficiency using Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork.
• Experience as a STEM professional applying AI agents to technical workflows.
• Ability to describe complex technical solutions and tools used.
• Strong communication skills for producing technical documentation.
• Experience generating agent-driven sequences for problem-solving.
