Computational Analyst or Data Scientist

About the role

Physical Sciences Inc., an Employee-Owned company located just north of Boston in Andover, is seeking a computational scientist and/or data scientist to contribute to programs in data analysis and data fusion. We develop systems and algorithms that solve challenging real-world problems in computer vision, graph analytics, and sensor fusion and modeling. These systems are continuously deployed with relevant local and federal agencies, directly contributing to our nation’s security.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex datasets.
• Develop algorithms and/or analysis tools to extract clear results and conclusions.
• Contribute to research areas including target segmentation/tracking, few-shot learning, and patterns of life analysis.
• Develop your own research interests and write proposals in new research areas.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Strong background in analyzing and interpreting complex datasets.
• Experience developing algorithms and/or analysis tools.
• Experience with machine learning methods and statistical graph analysis (formal or self-taught).
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
