- Refine and extend analysis workflows for data analysis, data visualization, and data tools (e.g., RShiny) in collaboration with bioinformatics engineers.
- Communicate results to cross-functional teams in verbal or written form, facilitated by static and interactive data visualization.
Requirements
- Must possess a MS in Bioinformatics, (Bio)statistics, (Bio)Mathematics, or related discipline and 1 year of academic or industry experience analyzing at least one of the following OMICS modalities: genetics, transcriptomics, proteomics, or metabolomics, from raw data to finished results.
- Of academic or industry experience, must have 1 course or 1 year with each of the following:
- Coding in R or Python;
- Generating interactive and static data visualization using R/RShiny or Python;
- Applying statistical analyses, experiment design, regression, and modeling to scientific questions.
- Alternatively, would accept a BS in Bioinformatics, (Bio)statistics, (Bio)Mathematics, or related discipline, and 3 years of analyzing at least one of the following OMICS modalities: genetics, transcriptomics, proteomics, or metabolomics, from raw data to finished results.
- Of the 3 years of experience required, must have 3 years with each of the following:
- Coding in R or Python;
- Generating interactive and static data visualization using R/RShiny or Python;
- Applying statistical analyses, experiment design, regression, and modeling to scientific questions;
