About the role
The Computational Aerodynamics Researcher will develop and analyze complex computational models to improve aircraft performance and reduce fuel consumption.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance computational fluid dynamics simulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate aerodynamic data into engineering designs
- Analyze experimental data to validate and refine simulation models
- Present findings at internal and external conferences
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience with CFD software such as ANSYS Fluent or similar tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python and MATLAB
- Knowledge of aerodynamic principles and aircraft design
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Advanced mathematical and computational skills
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
- Understanding of aerodynamic testing techniques
