Computational Aerodynamics Researcher

About the role

The Computational Aerodynamics Researcher will develop and analyze complex computational models to improve aircraft performance and reduce fuel consumption.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance computational fluid dynamics simulations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate aerodynamic data into engineering designs
• Analyze experimental data to validate and refine simulation models
• Present findings at internal and external conferences

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience
• Experience with CFD software such as ANSYS Fluent or similar tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and MATLAB
• Knowledge of aerodynamic principles and aircraft design
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Advanced mathematical and computational skills
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
• Understanding of aerodynamic testing techniques
