Compressor Operator

About the role

Compressor Operators monitor and control the computerized process control systems for Gunstock's snowmaking operations. You will operate 13 vertical turbine pumps and 2 air compressors powered by large-horsepower electric motors, and communicate continuously with snowmakers to ensure maximum efficiency. You may also assist with the maintenance of pipe and valve systems as needed.

Position is scheduled to start around November 1st.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older with high school diploma or equivalent
• Current valid driver’s license
• Strong communication skills and the ability to anticipate and react appropriately to changing weather conditions and production needs
• Basic working knowledge of snowmaking systems
• Prior experience with mechanical repairs and troubleshooting preferred
